Senior Floral Designer
2001- present El Shaddai Florist - Bermuda
Position included all aspects of floral design, specialising
in weddings and large functions for hotels and clients on the island. Also responsible
for weekly contract work both at the shop and on site at large companies, hotels
and private residences. My other duties involve the weekly buying of the flowers,
ordering stock and sundries, liaison and client consultations for both weddings
and functions.
Manager
1999-2001 East End Florist - Bermuda
As Manager of a small team I was responsible for overseeing
all day to day orders, weekly buying of flowers, ordering and maintaining
all stock.
I undertook a buying trip to Boston Flower Market and visited a large trade
fair in Atlanta, buying stock for the shop.
Floral Designer
1997-1999 Designer Flowers - Bermuda
I was employed as a floral designer primarily responsible for overseeing the
functions and contracts for hotels and clients on the island. Undertook set up and breakdown of
various functions and parties. A large part of my experience was gained through liaison with clients
to create and implement various designs to their requirements.
Freelance floral designer
1996-1997
During this time I worked on many weddings, bahmitzvahs and
private commissions from formulation of the initial requirements with the Client
through to the finished events.
I worked on a freelance basis for Springbank a floral and events company. I assisted
the event organizers with all aspects of floral work including decoration of hotels and marques.
I was also involved in many weddings, private themed events and corporate functions
for both individual clients through to large organizations such as Granada, Air tours and IBM.
Florist
1993 -1996 Barkers Florist - Timperley Manchester
I worked as part of the floral team, making up daily orders and contracts to working
on larger functions specializing in weddings and bahmitzvahs.
During my time here
a became familiar with all aspects of floral work, dealing with customer orders, and enquiries on a day to
day basis. I also visited the flower market on a weekly basis.

Interests
